Algae, cloudy water and foam on the surface

I used concentrated bleach 6% Sodium Hydroxide from Meijer. About pH: I tried to bring it to 7.5 (the upper range in recommended by TFP). At some reason, it did not change, now it is 7.22. I checked it with two methods. The foam is gone. I believe it was due to air in the filter. Now, my test...

NEW in winterizing SWG pool - PLEASE HELP

Thank you JVTrain, It's clear - I'll wait for the temperature to drop. You mentioned: "close with polyquat and/or shock level FC". Does this mean that the shocking is not necessary with temperature below 60? And my last question about TA level of 110 ppm. Do I need to lower it and how? Thanks...

NEW in winterizing SWG pool - PLEASE HELP

jblizzle, A am still a bit confused. 1. You talk about 10 bottles, while the pool math calculator shows just 3 gal of bleach at SYA 70 that I have to add to get the shock level of 28 ppm FC. 2. I understand that the lower the temperature at closing and opening, the better. However, when I plug...

My today's test results: Salt - 3200 FC - 6.5 CYA - 40 (increased from two days ago 20 ppm), on June 9 I added 126 oz of stabilizer.
