    Spa Valve Positions

Thanks! I’ll play around with changing the positions. It’d be nice to be able to keep the hot water in while still being able to circulate water to the pool sometimes.

    Spa Valve Positions

Is there a way to have 3 programed positions on the spa valve? When the spa is turned on, the spa valve automatically opens and pump outflow goes only into the spa. When the spa is turned off, the valve closes half way and allows cold water to replace the hot water in the spa. I would like...

    CH and Salt Loss

Thanks. That’s going to be a tough one to get to. Not sure it can be cut without removing the deck and framing along with the equipment on top. It’s not under pressure and can be stopped when I apply pressure with my finger. Do you think plumbers putty jammed in the hole wrapped with rubber...

    CH and Salt Loss

Thanks for the info. I think I may have found a culprit. I went to the equipment deck and heard water I removed a few deck boards and saw water springing from a conduit pipe. It must have been nicked. Any ideas on why water is running through the conduit? I believe it may be wiring to the...

    CH and Salt Loss

It does overflow and it seems we have gotten a fair amount of rain. It feels like an abnormal loss and I’m worried something else may be going on like a leak.

    CH and Salt Loss

    Plumbing Change

Thanks HermanTX! I really appreciate that. Your suggestions were great. I raised the filter and put a bypass on the heater. Everything seems to flow better now.

    Plumbing Change

Thanks everyone for the help! Just got everything hooked back up and no leaks so far! Other than my booster pump making a buzzing noise and not turning on, everything else seems to work. Now to get a salt test to see how much salt I need to add.

    Plumbing Change

Looking at it, I’ll get a new valve and orient it at the pump so it has a straight run to the filter. I’ll put another valve with a check valve to bypass the heater.

    Plumbing Change

Thanks. Gathering all the parts now. The concrete pad is too small. Once I move the heater back to make room for the SWG, it’ll be sitting in the dirt. Also, water runs over the area during a heavy rain. I think raising everything will help protect the equipment.

    Plumbing Change

Good question. I’m not sure why there’s a valve there. I’ve never had to operate it.

    Plumbing Change

Thanks. I’ll try to label the pipes this afternoon. Basically, the three on the right are spa and skimmer suction and the three on the left are the spa output and 2 pool outputs. I don’t close the pool in the winter. Great idea on the heater bypass and thanks for the reference. I didn’t know...

Wiring Intellichlor Power Center to Easy Touch

Thanks everyone, that worked! I can go into the pump menu now in service mode. I can’t believe I didn’t realize it wasn’t wired correctly for this long. I guess when I installed it and everything seemed to work correctly, I thought all was good. So now for the chlorinator power center, I just...

Wiring Intellichlor Power Center to Easy Touch

I traced the wires back from the pump. They are wired on what looks like the load side of the relay (circled). Do I just move both over to the line side (arrows)? Looking for confirmation before I do it. Thanks.

Wiring Intellichlor Power Center to Easy Touch

I haven’t been getting any errors since I installed it a few years ago. I am connected to the com port. I control the pump with the app when I need to change speeds. The only thing I thought was odd was that when the pump fist starts up, it goes full speed for about 10 seconds. I’ll check the...

Wiring Intellichlor Power Center to Easy Touch

Thanks. I put it into service mode and no display on the pump. Probably my fault, because the original pump was a single speed pump and I didn’t change the wiring. How should I change it up?

Wiring Intellichlor Power Center to Easy Touch

I just got the IC60 kit from Polytec. What’s the correct way to wire the power center to what I have. I’ve searched, but haven’t found anything that makes sense to me. Would it be best to put the box in place of my Eclipse and moving the wiring around? Thanks.
