    Thank you double patch sounds like a good idea. The roots are in the "deep end" of the pool. About five feet down and about 4 inches long.

    Sorry, but picture doesn't turn out good. The roots are white and blend in. The roots from the king palm tree. No, there isn't a significant amount of water loss.
