Not that I know of - salt water system and only thing I ever put in regularly is muriatic acid to lower pH. I used some Kemtek algaecide a few times last year when water looked a little cloudy/geeenish once , but that is copper free from what I understand

i mean with how slow your builder has been probably lol. plus you could have probably shopped quote around a bit, fence guys around here vary wildly (i had quotes of 2K all the way down to $500 for my small repalcement fence/gate)
