I really hate that black dot test. Honestly, I hate most of them because I'm colorblind. Without my girl here to tell me when something changes color I'd be screwed. I think the FC and salt tests are the only ones I get right since I can sort out clear vs red and milky vs brick red.

Must be some confusion. I definitely don't clean unless scale is there. But for some folks checking the SWG elements could use a reminder to inspect, even me. Mine is a little easier maintenance than most since I can see into the element through a window. My mom's and some friends not so much...

I've got the same problem. Even took a little lube to it. I think it's not letting the air inside escape. It'll (mostly) seal then starts easing back up. I've stood on it with all my 250 and even bounced a little. No joy. Mine is barely off, but it's still an issue.
