So I’m reading in the forums and there seems to be some mixed information but overall it appears that it’s safe to swim even though the SLAM process as long as CYA/FC ratio is met?

I just figured it wouldn't hurt to add more because it will be like sustaining the level, and the heat index will be like 110F today. So, adding more doesn't speed up, which makes sense. It's the time/FC level sustained over time. Do I need to account for heat? Does the poolmath app account...

This morning FC 13. Water color turned from green to a blue/green. Called for 56oz to bring to SLAM level I added 64oz won’t be able to check for a 3-4 hours. The pressure on the cartridge filter still 18. I’ll open it up again later today to see what it looks like inside. The other filter...

I actually thought of the same thing today so I went somewhere else and got more 12.5% that I know is stored indoors just in case. The FC is going up when I add the old stuff so I don’t think that’s it but I’m transitioning over to the new stuff moving forward so I’ll let you know.

New filter pressure is 18. It was also 18 when all that gunk was on there which is why I didn’t think to check/clean it previously.

Checked FC down to 13 added 43oz of 12% bleach. New filter running old filter soaking in tsp. Pressure with new filter is at 18 that is what it was with all that gunk but I’m going to keep up the daily filter check/swap and soak in tsp overnight. Loving the help from the forum and poolmath...
