    White Powder in Auto Fill

I'm new here so hopefully this is in the right section. I recently noticed that in the bottom of my auto fill, there is about 1/4" of white powder residue. When the autofill kicks on, this white powder gets sent into the pool. It doesn't look like the residue is actually on the bottom of the...

    Screen Logic local password setup

Thanks everyone. It's not that I'm trying to keep her out of anything. I'm trying to figure out an easy way so I'll know that if the heater is turned on so I don't get another $300 gas bill by surprise. Come to find out, it was my 9 year old daughter that grabbed my wife's phone and turned on...

    Screen Logic local password setup

I understand there's a way to set up a password for remote access to the system. However, is there a way to set up a password for local access when on the same wifi? My wife has a bad habit of turning the heater on and leaving it on. She's using the app from home. Just received a $335 gas bill...

    Screen Logic/Intellibrite colors

@Jimrahbe I have a new pool and I have an Easy Touch 8 with Screen logic. I also have the applications installed on my PC. When I go to Main/Lights/Intellibrite, I see 5 basic colors and some presets that change colors. If I select something like Caribbean, the lights have a smooth transition...

    Intellibrite Light Colors

I just completed my new pool about 3 weeks ago. Getting accustomed to how everything works and I have a question about the lights. I'm using an EasyTouch 8 and have access set up to my phone and PC. I have 4 Intellibrite LED lights installed. When I look at the Screen Logic app it shows me 5...

    New Build with Consultant

Tile was just completed today. Now just the decking and finish and it's ready to fill with water. I believe I'm going to choose the Tahoe Blue pebble. A few questions since I'm only a couple weeks away from filling. 1. I know I'm going to need basic supplies such as a net, brush, etc. Is there...

Pentair Warrior SE is the Dolphin S200

I'm getting ready to decide on what to buy also. Interested in hearing your feedback on the Warrior SE or if I should wait for the S200/A20 to get back in stock.

    New Build with Consultant

Been a little while since I've been on but the pool is coming along nicely so far. Plumbing was complete today, steel starts tomorrow and electrical on Tuesday. Coming along a little quicker than I expected and happy with the results so far. Appreciate all the feedback I received on here.

    New Build with Consultant

@JJ_Tex The consultant is actually a licensed general contractor and owns his own company called Desert Bloom Pools. He will be pulling the permit under his GC license so if there's any issues, I have recourse through the Nevada Contractors Board. He charges 10% to manage the project which is...

    New Build with Consultant

Thank you all for the feedback. I just called the designer and told him to leave the Screen Logic in place. Thanks @Jimrahbe A question came up about the heater. He's asking if I want to go with a Pentair heat pump (approximately $4,000 or a Pentair 400,000 BTU gas heater (approximately $2200...

    New Build with Consultant

I appreciate the responses. The consultant I'm working with said the Screen Logic is nice, but it does not work well with Android operating systems. Since I work for a company that standardizes on the Android platform, I do not have any IOS devices. I'll take a look at the IntelliCenter and see...

    New Build with Consultant

Thanks for the response. Those 2 wok pots were added to the side by the house because I have a bay window at my master bedroom there and they have to maintain a 5 foot distance from the house. The pool would have either needed to be "cut in" at that corner or something different to maintain the...

    New Build with Consultant

I'm brand new here and just starting the design phase of my new pool. I have a relatively small backyard so the design was a bit of a challenge. I went to 2 different local companies and the quotes ranged from $38k to $62k. After some discussions and thought, I was referred to a pool consultant...
