I have 2 that look like yours How did you get them out of their nitches? After unlocking them mine will only come out about 2 inches Do I have to pull really hard or disconnect the power line from the 12V transformer then pull them out

I can't pull the lights out of their housing after using the key to unlock the light They come out about an 2 inches Is it because I have to disconnect the cable from the 12V transformer as there is not enough free cable to remove the light Although the lights have rusty water in their lenses...
