So what should I do? They stated the pool was locked up and basically the cya level being that high is limiting the FC and CC from doing their job - I’m paraphrasing.

The pool company that installed the pool about 6 years ago. They didn’t try to “sale” me anything, but gave me the suggestion on how to lower cya level.
