    Experimenting with pool cover fabric

I bought a sheet of pool cover fabric https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BOUJG5A?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details My pool is a very irregular shape and there's no chance of doing anything like a roller at one end. So I trimmed it to size, about 2" smaller all around, as best as I could guess...

    Aqua-rite under-reporting salt level?

Two weeks ago I cleaned out my salt cell (a CMARCHA40-2Y by Calimar which claims to be T-15 equivalent about 2 years old) with diluted muriatic acid. It was really pretty clean, no visible build up of anything but the "inspect cell" led was on solid so I thought it was the right thing to do...

Pentair VS pump forgetting time after losing power

I was getting error 0021 and shut off my pump to clean the connector....when I re-powered I noticed it had lost the time, but retained the programming for the 3 speeds. Wondering if the Real Time Clock is backed up by the batttery on the circuit board which would be an easy fix to replace. Bonus...

It's a Pentair VS and my speed 2 (which runs for most of the time within the cycle) was set to 500RPM. With a bit of experimenting just now I found that at 850RPM flow remained detected...

Aquarite + Variable Speed Pool Pump - flow switch not closing during slow speed => no salt production for most of the hours it runs

This is my 2nd only post to this forum, so I apologize if this has been already answered elsewhere. So the title pretty much describes my problem. I know enough on the electrics side that there's an electrical way I can detect whenever the pool pump is running at all to short out the flow switch...

Hello from CA - came here by googling for error code 0021 Pentair Superflo VS

I'm a DIYer and yesterday found my Pentair Superflo VS pump was giving me this error and had stopped working. The manual indicates this means "HMI interface has lost communication with the motor control". It says "Ensure that the 5 pin connector is properly plugged into the socket and that...
