    So you want to add borates to your pool--Why and How

    How important is it to adjust TA to 70-80 ppm before adding borates? My TA is a little high at 120, but my pH is fine at 7.5. If the TA is fine, I'd rather leave it at that because I have no way to aerate the pool at the moment.
