Picked up the Aquron material and was planning to apply to spa walls, raised bond beams and tile areas. Do you think I will still need to use the blockade material? Any recommendations for thinset or will a basic versabond work?

Ended up using Stepstone. We thought about poor in place but did not want to deal with the possibility of cracks and mismatch if it was replaced. We are putting pavers in that are from the same company and color also.

Thanks Roy, waterproofing and drainage already in place, it was part of the engineering plans and inspections. Can you believe 4 city inspections already done on the wall and 2 more to go? The wall is a beast.. 12” cmu with rebar 8” spacing on the bottom 2ft.

It definitely is not getting any better with the recent rain. This was from only 6 hrs of rain overnight. So glad we have not fully excavated the pool yet.
