I'm going to use these.
General rule
the red insulated electrical terminal may be used in sizes from 22 to 18 gauge,
blue for wires from 16 to 14 gauge,
yellow for wires from 12 to 10 gauge, and so on.
Just bought a new circulation pump, it came with a cord and a typical plug.
My Jacuzzi needs a disconnect terminal for the Hot and Neutral (not the ground).
Anyone know if there is much difference between 12-10 AWG and 16-14 AWG ?

I took a screwdriver to the side (hit it with a hammer) and it snapped easily.
Then I took a screwdriver and a hammer to it as seen hereL
and it loosened enough for me to unscrew it manually.
Now Im deciding if this "mesh" is supposed to be there:
Would half a pool puck in there put enough chlorine gas in there to make it less hospitable ?
Would the chlorine also aggravate the control panel ? (not sure).

I thought this forum was just for Water Chemistry.
I was kinda surprised not to see a dedicated hot tub / spa forum.
Good news, I was able to get the blue part out. (more pictures later).
Now I'm deciding if the grey holed circle is supposed to be there ! it's definitely just on one side.
I just tried to use two long allen keys that were place in holes along the edge and to push pull on them simultaneously to dislodge it. One hole broke.
maybe I'll try a dremel to cut it out ?
the green part is sticking out slightly on the lateral view (hard to see that in the picture above).
My next idea is to "break the cage"(center) .. (hopefully no bits fall in) and that might give me better access to getting it out ?
I'm draining the spa to fix / inspect the circulation pump (it hums).
This has been stuck for 18 months, so the 10 year old circulation pump and the hot tub...
I've run into high stabilizer this year from overdoing pucks.
I do have liquid chlorine but it is hard on the bottom of my liner pool.
My last pool guy didn't hook up the main drain to my pump (pipe still there) and all chlorine easily makes it to the deep end bleaching the liner.

How do I do this ?
Verify power at MV on P-4 Terminal on digital circuit board.
and
Verify Power to valve MV voltage (Replace Valve).
From another troubleshooting guide.
I have a voltmeter. I guess I just dont know where the MV-MV/PV terminals are.
