So we have a cracked union with our salt cell. Where do I get a new one to replace it? Does it have to be specific to the Jandy PLC 1400? Just found it tonight, so shut down the pump. (Was running pump at night to cool pool off through solar, so will have to figure this out in the morning...

Also....just for future reference....how high can CH go without being a problem? I have been using the pool calculator since 2011 and whenever I put in the test results it usually shows that I need to drain. I just have never done it until this year.

Yep...the water is incredible with all this heat. Once the heat started up earlier in the month it didn't take long to get the water to this lovely temperature---it's 86* and perfect! Just wish the wind would not crank up every afternoon... you will also be so happy to have the automatic...

We have pavers and a SWG system and I would say to definitely seal the pavers as the water leaves a little salt residue when it dries...nothing major but with the sealer it doesn't show as much. And, dirt, grime and grease do not stain the pavers if sealed...

Be careful with the food dye..it stains easily! Cover up the stuff underneath that you don't want to get stained (like concrete, etc)
