It is plastic. Just the pump and DE filter before the salt cell. By probes would you mean maybe a temperature and salt reader probe? Thank you for replying!

Thank you for replying. Here’s a pic of our equipment pad… and the gray tubing is made of plastic. I was stumped by it and also don’t understand why bugs are getting through the DE filter 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I inspected my Hayward salt cell and found this gray piece of tubing. Any idea what this is from? Also, is it normal to see dead bugs in the salt cell? Thank you.

Hello. We replaced our Hayward T-15 SWG cell. We have a Hayward Aqua Plus system and the salt reading needs to be calibrated. How do we do it? The pool store states our salt is 3200 ppm. Thank you.

I'm looking at the AA treatment directions here on TFP. And, I meant to type "Metal Free" in my last sentence of my original post, not Stain Free.

I'm preparing to do the AA process to remove metal stains in my vinyl pool w SWG. Local stores only carry Natural Chemistry Metal Free but The AA directions here say to use either Pro Team Metal Magic or Jack's Magic Purple Stuff. Is there a significant difference that justifies me ordering one...

Thank you so much for replying and helping me. I don't have a cell holder for cleaning (but after this I plan to buy one!) so I used a household bucket and it was fairly full. I did a 4:1 ratio water to acid.

I'm cleaning my SWG cell and don't need any muriatic acid added to the pool. How can I safely dispose of the water and muriatic acid mixture? thanks.

Hello, I'm still in my first year of inground pool-ownership & have a newbie question.... It's raining a lot down here in NW Georgia. Is it okay if the pump comes on (we have a timer) if the water gets above the skimmer? Or should I leave work to go home and drain the pool some? Thanks so much!! :-)
