Hey Folks, so I have a lot of iron in my water so i made a iron filter. I'm using a salt water generator in my pool. When filtering out the iron should I detach my SWG and just use the cartridge filter and pump or will the filtering out of the iron not effect my SWG? Another...

Another question, when Im using the iron filter should i have the water passing through the salt water generator? or just use the pump and cartridge filter to get the iron out then hook up the SWG?

I have a Coleman 6k gallon and im having trouble with my well water that has alot of iron in it. im going to build a iron filter and was just seeing if the stock pump would work with it.

Ive been doing some research and it seems everyone is using a sand pump filter. I have a 6k gal pool and I want to do this right. Is the sand filter worth purchasing or the stock pump work for the size of my pool?

I think i might invest in the intex sand filter. looks like a work horse. Any thoughts?

Did you just use your pool pump or did you have to get a pond pump like the person did below?

Yes i am using well water. Which is known for having a high iron level. Should i just try the "metal out" or should i SLAM the pool also? Also how long does it take after putting the metal out in to see results?

Im Using a Intex Clear saltwater system with E.C.O. I used Morton pool salt i picked up from Walmart. With the research i did having the salt water produces chlorine to sterilize the water. Guess i was wrong? I heard bleach works but how much should i use?
