Sorry, I'm not sure how to better describe it than I did. It is a 1.5" flexible PVC pipe that sticks up out of the ground. There is no hard pipe or anything else other than the 1.5" flexible PVC

We have a 1.5" flex PVC pipe feeding to under our pool to extractt ground water. I'm having difficulty finding info on what type of pump I need to accomplish this. Anyone have some ideas? Thanks

Sorry, forgot to add, the air relief is in place with the cover over it, tightened down nicely. The manifold with air relief are new, along with the grids. The I replaced the o-ring on the stand-pipe, so that is new as well

I told a friend we really should come out with a product for this niche. Preferably something that communicates with a controller placed near the pool since water will greatly reduce signal. There really isn't anything good on the market currently for this need.

Thats definitely my concern. I wonder if it worth having a plumber or someone get a scope in there. This skimmer is in the shallow end and you see all the Crud piling up. The only other thing I can maybe do is get a Betta SE to skim the surface and hopefully keep it cleaner.
