    Definitely refractory from the side panels. My last heater had more of a solid refractory material. It was like stone for 15 years . Should i worry about this? Did this flake away because of rain? I just hosed down and the heat ex and it looks great. I want to start it up again but i wonder...

    Dear TFP crowd I had a rollout yesterday and noticed that there were pieces of what looks to be calcium or some other whitish material laying on top of my burners and on the bottom of the heater. Does this mean that the outside of the heat exchanger tubes are caked with this stuff? Any ideas...

    this is it not too much light. This heater is still rolling out after i cleaned the orifices and burners. the rollout happens right under the rollout switch which i assume is by design. Dont know what to do next other than pull this thing out and clean it with a hose

    I have the same problem. Pulled out the burners just to check them after the tech told me the burners needed replaced. I got curious so i pulled the burner unit out and they all look fine. Not one clogged hole. So i took a pic of the bottom of the of the heat exchanger and , im no pro, but this...
