Hello everyone, been lurking a while and have learned a lot since getting a new to us house with pool/spa, thank you. The dedicated 60A gfci breaker that goes to the Hayward CSPAX11 external spa heater is tripping instantly when I flip that breaker, this even happens with the dial on the heater...

Would the pump still have the protection features if they bypassed the Easy Touch panel?

I thought the same thing myself once I learned more about them. I will try to fool with it this weekend and figure things out.

Thank you. Local pool supply house told me the same thing today. I was very worried. I have downloaded the manual for the Easy Touch outdoor panel and will attempt to start it up this weekend. I also signed up for an on site pool school session.
