    Well I have tested my fill water. Here is what I have found: Chlorine - 0 PH - 7.6 Total Alkalinity - 180 CYA - 0 Salt - I do not have the chemicals to test this

    I am 3 days into a SLAM and my CYA is really high. When I do the test is half way between the bottom and the 100 on the comparator tube, so I would guess it is around 150 ppm. How do I reduce it without draining my pool by ~50%. Also should I keep up my SLAM?
