Yes...just not sure of how to "plug my skimmer"

I'm losing between 1/2" and 3/4" of water every 24 hours, I've never lost water that fast. I tried the bucket test once, the results came back inconclusive. I plan to try it again this weekend.

I have a liner pool - 14'x30' - chlorine

I have come to the determination that I believe I have a leak in my pool. I'm curious to know which way I should go, hire at leak detection company or hire diver to find the leak?

I did...I did not have the bucket in the pool, I had the bucket adjacent to the pool right next to the lip in the shallow end. The results were inconclusive

Well... it does not appear that the water is leaking back through the sand filter via backwash. I disassembled the piping coming out of the sand filter from the backwash, no water has been leaking out of there. I performed a Dye test in the pool myself, it did not come up with anything leaking...

The waste pipe runs underground and is tied into the storm drain, which is also underground - so unfortunately I'm unable to see it

I thought that it could be the multiport valve as well - but the pool has been off for two days - could it still leak with the pump not running?
