I'm glad to hear the light niche will be structurally sound. I not sure what you were saying about the pool finish. Why would there be extra labor for changing color it is still the same material. Is it that expensive for the dye that is in the material. I'm just trying to understand.

Yeah let's hope my PB becomes reasonable after all he was going to change me additional 1100.00 to change from aqua cool to Aqua white. Needless to say I thought that was pretty expensive so I'm sticking with aqua cool mini. After seeing how nice your pool looks I'm fine with aqua cool.

I thought exactly what you said the Aqua cool and aqua white are both Stonescapes mini pebble and should be the same price. Do you have any pictures you can post with your aqua cool pool. Thanks

I was thinking about changing my pool finish color from aqua cool mini pebble to Aqua white mini pebble. The PB is telling me it would be 1100.00 to upgrade because it has blue base. Does this price seem reasonable. I was surprised to hear it would be that much more.

I think we are going to live with what we have. I just wanted to point some things I am seeing during my build and hopefully it helps someone down the road.

Thanks Kim we chose the Roman/Grecian shape pool because it gave us the best fit with a little classic style. We are not sure if we did the right thing getting the sunshelf. With the pool only 23. 6 length it takes away about 5'. It is 3-6 ft deep but it looks even deeper , I have to measure it...

They have not put any piping where the light is going. They only have 4 pipes where the 3 returns and designated vacuum line will be I am also suppose to have a rain overflow and I don't see any cutouts for that either. No we don't have decking yet they still have to run plumbing and electrical.
