Thanks. My CYA is fine. Im not familiar with using the pucks which is why Im looking for some guidance, whatever will be easier for me to use for a month or so. If the pucks would work that would be a lot easier for me than lugging gallon jugs out to the pool.

Thanks Marty. Ill do that today. Ive only had it 2 years, but it seems like I cant get it really clean. Was thinking of getting another one and swapping them out so I can give the old one a "deep clean", whatever that would be. Ill pull it out today and see what it says. Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like its coming up from the top screw. Pool builder says its the water. I dont know enough about it, but I would think if it were the water, it would be more than just one spot.

If the cya is 52, you need to round up to 60. At 60 cya, your minimum FC level is 5....that is bare minimum. Recommended target is 7-9 Chlorine / CYA Chart - Trouble Free Pool.
