I just switched my sand filter to a cartridge filter setup and it seems to be working well but, they're building a new house nextdoor and after the lot was cleared I have some fine silt that wafted over into my pool that I cannot seem to get rid of. I vacuum the pool and the water looks great...

I just switched from a sand filter to cartridge filter because I no longer have anywhere to run the backwash to, I used to pump the water into the wooded lot nextdoor but a new house is going in, and I can't run the water on the lawn (chlorine and grass don't mix) New Hayward filter works better...
