We’ve been swimming for a few months already but finally finished up the backyard last week so thought I’d share a few pics of everything finished :) First a before (yuck lol)

We finally got plastered!! They'll be back tomorrow to acid wash and start filling. Start up will most likely be on Monday depending on how long it takes to fill

Looks good! I'm jealous cause all we need is plaster but the company won't do it until the temp is above 45 for at least 24 hours. So far it's looking like the only chance for that is doing it Thursday but then of course it's supposed to rain and get really cold again. Crazy TX weather!

Yes, it's a mosaic that we had custom made. We had seen one like it and my husband had them replicate it. It looks ugly right now because they wanted the tile guys to be the ones who set it and not the plaster guys. It will be plastered in when the plaster is done. The fan is a Minka aire...

It's been slow going the past few weeks with rain and snow but we're almost ready to get plastered :D Clean up crew should be here tomorrow to get everything cleaned up and the pool prepped. The pavers took about 6 days from start to finish including the ground prep. I'm really surprised...

It looks great! Thank you so much for sharing! We are still undecided between a cauldron and a custom cowboy cooker. Good to know there's a cheaper option available for the cauldron although it does make the choice even harder now lol

I did....What's shocking to me was the PB said they always use white even on the dark tiles like these, that that's what people want. Not sure if he was trying to get me to say just leave it or what haha

Tile, coping, and waterfall are done. I was adamant that I didn't want white grout but the PB forgot to relay that to the tile guys so they had to scrape it all out and redo it. I decided on a smokey blue and it looks 100% better than the white did. Hoping the weather stays nice so the porch...

They started on the waterfall/grotto, tile and coping Friday and came back today to work on it. They'll be back tomorrow to hopefully finish up since it's supposed to rain most of the day Wednesday. The company doing the porch is supposed to start sometime this week :) They'll have to wait to do...

I'm not sure what test kit they'll be providing but I'll be ordering the TF-100 probably next week :)

Gunite was scheduled for Monday but they called last night to tell us they'd be here at 7am. I'm sure our neighbors are loving us today

We will have a grotto with waterfall and then a waterfall on either side so three altogether

We had about 90' of our land cleared out in the back today so lots more dirt to add to the already messy yard.

No, no changes. I'm sure when the hubby is home this weekend he'll say I should of changed something lol. He works out of town during the week so he won't be here for most of the build but at least I work from home and be here :)

Rebar was done today. Plumbing and electrical stub out should be early next week followed by gunite hopefully by the end of the week :)
