If you live near a pool supply store like Leslie's they will test your water for free, print out instructions on what you need and how and when to add it. You will need a bottle of your pool water and the number of gallons of water your pool holds. I just find this so much easier and more...

I had this issue with my above ground pool. My cells were requiring cleaning every week. Took a water sample to the pool supply place and I needed dry acid to balance the ph and alkalinity. After i gotg that balanced no mor problems

I am thinking of using Rustoleum Leak Stop. It is a rubber flexible coat. I have a salt water clorinator so i need to cover all metal especially the joints and the areas where water can get between the liner and the upper support. Any thoughts?

I also have an Intex Ultra frame that has rusted to the point of collapse in one year. I use the intex salt water chlorinator. I had to buy a new pool. I am researching what i can apply to the joints to help prevent this in my new one. I love my saltwater and do not want to fo back to...
