    Re: New Pool Owner Moving To Salt One other big of advice. If the frame is powder coated steel the swg will cause it to rust. You will need to treat these areas or your pool will be trash after one season. I learned this the hard way

    If you live near a pool supply store like Leslie's they will test your water for free, print out instructions on what you need and how and when to add it. You will need a bottle of your pool water and the number of gallons of water your pool holds. I just find this so much easier and more...

    I had this issue with my above ground pool. My cells were requiring cleaning every week. Took a water sample to the pool supply place and I needed dry acid to balance the ph and alkalinity. After i gotg that balanced no mor problems

    Rust prevention on an Intex Large Ultra-Frame Rectangular Pool

    I am thinking of using Rustoleum Leak Stop. It is a rubber flexible coat. I have a salt water clorinator so i need to cover all metal especially the joints and the areas where water can get between the liner and the upper support. Any thoughts?
