Mystery return fitting - please help me ID/remove

My inground, gunite pool is at least 30 years old. I have three returns - two in the deep end, one in the shallow. I also have four "returns" along a bench in the shallow end, with a blower attached for air. The seven returns seem to be identical. They all accept typical 1 1/2" threaded...

Aqua Logic Salt Too High - Cholrinator Off High Salt/Amps

That makes sense. Hmm. Perhaps I'll get my water tested at the local store, and if all checks out, get a new board.

Aqua Logic Salt Too High - Cholrinator Off High Salt/Amps

Just replaced my T-cell-15. Went from readings going lower and lower (eventually reading 0) with the old cell, to now reading 4500-4700 with the new cell. Amps are at 7.98-7.99, when generating chlorine. I appreciate the salt strips aren't especially accurate, but I use the same strips...

    Troubleshooting Air Leak

I appreciate this insight very much. I've cleaned/lubed all known gaskets and it's definitely helped. All plumbing is underground until just before the pump/filter, and everything around the pump/filter is 2-3" PVC pipe. Tough to test these things. Thanks again!

Strange white film - out of nowhere

Hi; thank you! It was not foamy. It did go away a day later. As the heat was the sole "new" thing I changed, I have to believe it came from that. I guess I wasn't paying attention to weather, either, but as I say it's crystal clear now, and it was just a day after posting. Thanks for the reply!

Strange white film - out of nowhere

Saltwater pool, about 40Kgal Opened a few days ago - not too dirty; chemistry wasn't bad at all. Shocked it. Next day, had cleared up nicely; swept and vacuumed. Added salt to get to 3000. Next day, all was well; turned on the chlorine generator. Today, all is well, water clear; chemistry is...
