Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

Ok, everything is now working, so here is the summary in case someone else found this thread: 1. I took the lid off of the pump and tested the power when activated. It was perfect at 240v and the pump kicked on without an issue. My best guess is that turning off the breaker for two hours while...

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

No, these instructions appear to want to connect to an existing account, but I have not found the instructions on how to set up a new account. It also seems that www.intellicenter.com is no longer a valid site.

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

Ok, I finally got back to checking this (nice day today) - The main pump is connected to a relay and each leg measures 120 and measuring across both legs shows 240.

    It connects locally only.

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

I didn't have a ScreenLogic, but I did connect the IntelleCenter to the Ethernet port of the new circuit board. I will have to pull my multimeter and check the power to the pump. Since I hadn't changed any of the wiring, I was hoping that the circuit board had not changed anything on the pump...

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

Yes, Pentair Home app. I think it is only connecting locally.

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

The upgrade kit came with two pieces to connect it to the app. The egg shaped antenna and the receiver kinda shaped like a flattened nuclear cooling tower. The receiver is connected to the router and has successfully connected to the internet. I can also connect to it with the iPhone app.

Half done with Pentair Intellecenter or on the wrong path?

My Goal: Connect my pool to my Home Assistant home automation. My system: I recently replaced my pre-2012 EasyTouch circuit board with this kit: IntelliCenter Upgrade Kit (POOL/SPA COMBO BEFORE 2012) My prior system also had the Intellechlor circuitry, but I do not own a SWG. So after a bit of...

Well, looks like I'm replacing all of the water (CYA: 600+)

Yep, I get it. My last pool was completely BBB including a bleach injector. When we moved, I just got tired of hauling jugs of bleach and switched back to tabs. Lesson learned. For reference, I tested using the Taylor K-2005 kit. The CYA was milky white and the first pass only took about 6-8...

Well, looks like I'm replacing all of the water (CYA: 600+)

I emptied and refilled my pool at the beginning of last season (December 2019) but my numbers are well off the chart and I can't keep chlorine registering without several bags of shock. Chlorine: 0 Free Chlorine: 0 PH: 7 TA: 120 CH: 2500+ CYA: 600+ I've never seen CH or CYA so high. The Pool...

Completed - Replace all equipment (glorious failure, lessons, and finally success)

I posted a few weekends ago about a complete overhaul that I decided to try (80% Replacement Project - Before I cut - any advice?) I am now done, but it was quite the adventure. I learned quite a bit during this process and I'm hoping that some of my trials may help the next wayward soul that...

80% Replacement Project - Before I cut - any advice?

It works just fine - I will let you know how it all works out, but if it's ok, you can have it.

80% Replacement Project - Before I cut - any advice?

Pics First, for context: Ok, issues I am resolving include a filter that has been patched with epoxy twice, but is now leaking from several spots including cracks forming in the lower walls. The pump is an older single speed and the gaskets have gone, so it leaks pretty well itself. The...
