No I don't have a baquacil pool and I know that shocking is not a throw something in and its done. I did mention I shocked it approx. 7 times before closing and I know about FC level. I don't use the chemicals the link sent as I mentioned I use the BBB method.

For me it comes out cheaper buying the 12.5% at the local pool store for 2.49 a gallon. I buy the 5 gallon container and use a pump with a hose on it to pump from the 5 gallon to a one gallon container to bring to the pool. Here is the link to what it looks like and it works great...
