Thank you! The spa manager has a non-chlorine oxidizer so perhaps that may be interfering with the test. I was just confirming that it was not normal for the color to change over time.

Yes, I have the Taylor FAS-DPD and I do think the drop counting method is the most precise. The problem with the Color Q is that the color can change quite dramatically over 20-30 seconds. Are you saying the increased pink color over time is not expected?
