Thanks for the info. I will check it out. The pool seems to be doing well with this pump. It has about 18,000 gals with a Jandy 460 cart filter.

Does anyone know the reason for uprated pumps? I was told I would receive a 1 1/2 HP pump but it seems to have the same specs as the 1 HP. It is a Jandy pump.
