    FSTI brand bleach date code

It is $20 for a case of four 128oz bottles. Based on what I've read here it's probably not an exceptional deal, but it is the closest to me and they come 4 to a box which makes carrying them easier. I haven't yet priced it anywhere else nearby. I am a bit concerned about the shorter shelf life...

    FSTI brand bleach date code

Hi all, I have a pool store down the street that sells FSTI brand 12.5% bleach. I'm trying to figure out the date code but there seem to be a lot of extra characters. Is this saying the 15th day of 2017? I believe the characters are 6c170151034.

LOL Kim, yes the Ahhhhh could very well have been us! It was a really nice moment to enjoy and to reflect on how fortunate we are to be able to take on a project like this, and to have it turn out just how we envisioned it. It is too easy to take things like that for granted and I'm always...

We ran our robot for the first time yesterday. That thing is cool. I'm really thankful for the advice I got here and happy I went with it instead of the pressure side cleaner. It picked up a ton of pebbles and seemed to climb up the walls very well. Our heater was hooked up yesterday and we got...

Thanks Kim! Given what you said about the CYA test, I bet it was actually 30, or maybe even higher. At 20 I could only sometimes make out the dot, and I was staring at it, not glancing. I'll use your tip and do it again tonight or tomorrow. On the FC it could be the pool volume is off a...

OK, when I got home I tested chlorine and pH. pH had drifted up to 7.8 and FC was around 1. I added 121 ounces of 8.25 bleach and 30 ounces of MA half an hour apart. It was very still outside, so I got my first wiff of MA fumes. Not cool, but I seem to be fine. About an hour and a half...

I could have sworn I read with new plaster you should raise the FC gradually. I thought that was on this forum, but it may have been a plaster manufacturers website. You are saying it is OK for me to go to 5ppm at this stage?

I had asked my PB when I need to take over the water chemistry and he said not to worry, they are on top of it and they take care of the start up and the next two weeks up until they connect the heater (which would be through 2/15 or 2/16). He said they would let me know after that last check...

It was dark when I got home but I think the acid washing came out great! What a difference! We have around a foot of water in the "deep" end now. I'll get some pics in the morning when it is light. Super exciting, I almost can't believe we are finally filling it!

Thank you Bmore! That means a lot coming from you. I checked out your build thread and your pool, landscaping, and property are absolutely STUNNING! It honestly looks like a page out of a magazine.

Awesome! Thanks Kim! - - - Updated - - - I ran home during lunch to check on the progress. The acid wash crew wasn't there yet, but I got a nice picture in the mid-day sun.

Those do look less torturous than mine. There are some on the PoolFittings.com website you linked to also that look better. I am getting a robot, so it may be no problem for that, but I definitely want something that won't hurt while playing volleyball. Do you know if drain covers are...

Those look nice Bmore, but I have two 7.5 inch circular drain holes and it's too late for me to switch to these long ones. I too wish I had know about this other type. I guess the best I can do now is find some replacement drain covers down the line that are easier on the feet.
