Ok, thank you. My thought was to find a bag big enough and suspended it into the surge tank. There is definitely enough turbulence in the water to dissolve it, especially when the gutters are dumping into it. Being a public pool, there are bodies in there from 6:30am to sometimes 10:00 pm, 7...

​Thank you. Yes, I do have a large amount to add. I'm usually adding anywhere from 50 to 60 lbs at a time. The surge tank is unpainted concrete, if that helps.

I'm looking for opinions on the best and most effective way to add my stabilizer. My method now is to make a slurry and add it to the deep end where the main suction is located. I was wondering if I could pour the granulars directly into the surge tank. Any thoughts?

Could anyone tell me if there is any correlation between cloudy water and CyA levels? I have been battling cloudy water issues for over a month. I've shocked with DiChlor(56%) 3 times in that period. Chemical readings are always spot on. I've backwashed the filters when needed. I like my CyA...
