Great. Thanks, guys! I've been doing my own chemicals for the last three years, so I have not problem doing that, and Richard, I meant "we won't have any algae," which should make dialing in the chemicals more fun than slamming for 10+ days to start the season. I'll let you know how it goes!

I wanted to update this when complete. We ended up using a spray metal primer in flat white. Put two coats on, then let dry overnight. The next day we used 4" rollers to put on white epoxy paint made for garage floors and other high-traffic areas. Made a huge difference! New liner should...

We are getting the liner replaced in our in-ground pool, and we want to clean the fiberglass steps. They aren't horrible, but a little dingy and stained. I've Jack's Magic on Amazon. Anyone have a favorite product or DIY mixture? Maybe just go with Jack's? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Yeah, apologies for the lack of specificity. Here's what we have going on: They came out Friday and measured for the liner, so we probably still have 2 weeks, maybe a bit more before the new liner is in. We definitely want to touch up the coping if we can.

Okay, a bit of an update here: Got the Drain King today. Shut everything down, closed the MD valve and opened the skimmer valve, then inserted the Drain King in and fired up the hose. It started making a big squeaking noise, but stayed stable. There was water coming up out of the skimmer, so...

Just ordered Drain King for 1.5" - 3" from Amazon for ~$20. Should be here Tuesday. I've closed the skimmer valve, and I'll run the pump as normal until the Drain King arrives. Then I'll shut off the MD valve and open the skimmer valve, and give the Drain King a go. I'll let y'all know how...
