    Above Ground Skimmer Replacement

    Also there is some rust at the bottom of the skimmer and return jet most likely from the gaskets failing. I am not sure if there is enough rust that I should also install a stainless steel repair panel at both locations. Thoughts?

    Hi Splashpad the inside dimension is 11.5"W x 5.5"H. Not sure if patching would be an option. Do you recommend patching and moving? Please see additional pictures attached of the exterior skimmer and a picture of the interior mouth. Thanks for the help.

    I am trying to hold off on replacing the skimmer assembly till after the pool season. Any idea why my skimmer assembly has a support arm? I do not see any skimmers online that come with a support arm. Also, any idea how to remove it? There are no screws on the inside of the lining.
