Well warranty came and took a look at the pump, it was definitely bad bearings. Just wanted to update in case anyone else has pump noise like this in the future. Now apparently its smooth and quiet again.

HI all, I recently went through a round of algae, during which my salt cell salinty read 3300-3400 ppm, while in reality it was 2200-2400 ppm. Now, that the algae has cleared my cell is reading now 2600 ppm, could the algae have caused that ?

Thanks for the reply I tried that, no luck water comes up from the deep end drains and the float, well just floats up. There has to be another way to configure that skimmer for a more locked down water flow, I wonder if my setup guy just didnt leave the parts necessary ?
