The family is so happy! And I passed the OCLT last night! Tested at 7.5ppm FC at 11pm and had somewhere between 7.0 and 7.5 at 6AM. The 14th drop still had some color the 15th drop made it colorless so I guessing almost no FC loss overnight. Thanks to TFP!

FC 9.5 CC 0.5 CYA test came back close to 0 although the black dot started to disappear. Should I add some more?

CYA was at zero. Pool calc said 100 oz to get 30ppm. 6.25 lbs. That's what I put in. Nylons twisting away at both returns.;) I took the day off tomorrow to landscape around the pool. I'll be able to watch it better too.

Just so you know, I have a small plastic bottle that I am diving in upside down up to my elbow, invert to fill, and quickly remove. I swish the surface with my hand before I put the bottle in to prevent surface junk from getting in.

More noob questions... went counting drops to colorless, I count until I see it go colorless. I notice after I put the tester down the color returns to pink. Is that normal?

Just as a side note... I bought the Aquabot Junior and it has been pulling algae rements from the deep end. I have more vacuuming to do. I'm not in a hurry really. July 9 is the big party but the kids want to jump in before that.
