Point understood, very good insight and you have a lot more knowledge on this than I do, thank you for responding. I completely agree that the plaster was compromised in the torched areas and will need to be replaced but was hoping the Gunite was not weakened.

Great feedback so far, thank you. I will discuss adding the walls as part of the replacement. I might even be willing to pay some to cover the walls if it means a consistent and better product in the end. As far as torching, they seemed to use it limited and more to dry the plaster vs. stop...

I haven't estimated the total energy usage for the pool. I originally wasn't too concerned with it because we over-sized our PV solar system when we installed it to accommodate for a pool. Last year we over produced and our electricity bill was $0 for the year. This year we are likely going...

I spoke with Paradise Slides and they do recommend 200gpm but also said they believe installers typically use a 3hp pump. I also checked with Dolphin slides (similar style water slide manufacturer) and they recommend 125-150gpm. It looks like the Pentair WhisperfloXF 3hp (model 022018) can...

Our water slide is almost 39' long and requires higher flow than a standard slide. I double checked and the plans call for 200 gpm with a 3 or 4" line feeding the slide. The slide has two 3" outlets at the top. I have sent the manufacturer (Paradise Water Slides) an email to check what the...
