My drain screens and other plastic parts are stained tan/brown. Water chemistry is fine. Just seemed to stain last 6 months. I can’t brush it off, the plaster isn’t stained just the plastic parts. Ideas?

They replaced the cell under warranty. Just had the builders invoice and city permit close outs but he didn’t ask for anything. Just said the cell was bad and put a new one in. He cleaned up the power cable and said to call him if it caused any other problems. Thanks for the advice... C.

He's on his way...surprising; nothing happens this fast in Miami. He said he's bringing a new cell, cable and sensor.

The installer is out of business. However I contacted Jandy and they set me up with an local installer, just have to show receipt of installation and date and they will fix it. lets see what happens. I just said its broke and gave him the codes.

Well there it is, center pin corroded and fell out. Time to buy stock in whomever makes Clorox.

I filled out the signature in my profile don't know why it's not displaying in my response. SWG does most of the chlorinating, I add bleach if it gets behind.

My new plaster, SWG, waterfalls, bubblers caused my pool to do the exact same thing. It seems to get better after six months, I'm now at almost two years and 10k gal pool takes around a gallon a month to keep it in range.

had the same leaf staining, it's slowly fading hoping a FC of 5, CC 0.5, CYA 70 will work. I'm still losing 1.5-2.0 overnight but don't want to SLAM it if I don't have to. Good luck.

I have the same problem. I think my iron is from lawn irrigation which is on a shallow well, its doesn't spray into the pool but when its windy I guess enough gets in over time. I'm sure it could be from another source. I use a sequestrant and just dump some water when it gets really bad...

Installed an AquaCal heat pump and pressure on filter shows about an 8 psi increase. Usually run 10 psi clean filter, 18 dirty filter, now runs at 25psi , almost 30 psi spa mode. Cleaned filter didn't drop significantly. Ideas?

K-2006, usually test around 8am. swim load is not constant, kids fri, sat, sun. adults hot tub couple times a week. other than that water is super clear and no CC detected.

I have a Jandy SWG and constantly have to adjust the output to keep FC in 3-5 range. Is this typical ? get one cloudy day her in Miami and FC goes to 7, bright sunny day below 3. ref. CYA 70-80, ph 7.6, salt 3000 ppm, TA 60-70. Would be easier to just add bleach daily.
