Thanks. My pool is only open for about 5 months a year and the first and last of those 5 I am manually chlorinating so really just 3 hard months of SWG and IntelliPH. It is my plan to replace the tubing and pump every offseason.

Question. Do you dilute the acid that you put in the canister? I have been 1/1. Just wondering if it matters. I suppose the settings would have to be higher therefore working the dispenser harder than if it was straight acid?

He did leave me the extra tubing. I saw that post somewhere else and will replace that this weekend. The IntelliPH is new and has not been used yet so no harm at this point. Thanks for pointing that out.

For me its at least 3 oz twice a week and I work 60 hours a week so i just cant check it every other day. Like Dirk said, what wrong with a litte more luxurious.

We have a dark plaster pool and i just had a wet acid wash done in the deep end with another scheduled for the shallow end next week. I need to get this under control to keep my finish healthy. I work 60 hours a week so its tough to stay on top of it everyday. I think the intelliph will help a lot.

It gets close to 8, I knock it back to 7.5. add 2-3 cups 3 times a week. I can try a lower RPM.

We went with a gray Merlin mesh. I drop the pump in a couple of times over the winter to keep water level below the tile. The cover has worked perfectly for 4 winters.

The valve does move as it should. That's why I am confused. Seems like everything is doing as it should.

We have a spillover spa above the pool. This is the beginning of our 3rd year. I notice this year since opening that when I turn the spa on I now get a flow of water over the rocks. If all the valves are working correctly it should be the same water that is draining from the spa and being heated...

No. Found this site (unfortunately) after our build was done and never bothered to put the pool porn up for all to see. I would have never hired the PB that we used had I found this site first. Maybe Ill put it together and set up the thread one day. Good luck with yours, its looking great so far.

Jim, I called Pentair and di just that. I still need to figure out how to set up different pump speeds for different times of the day but for now it works fine. Thanks for checking back.

I have lost control of my scheduling on the easy touch panel. I called Pentair the other day and we did a hard reboot of the panel which of course erased all the settings. The tech on the phone walked me through setting up a 6-6:45 spa run, a 7-11 high speed pool run and then a 12-7 lower speed...
