    Questions about my new liner

That's what I think it is too. It's a pain to scrape off. Would you expect to have to do that for yourself?

    Questions about my new liner

Hi I just had a new liner installed. I was hoping someone could show me pics of the finishing of the liner install beside the stairs for example. I feel like this might be missing something but I don't want to say something til I'm sure. The part above the track is covered in a glue of some...

sand everywhere..in pool and in pump basket

Filter cleaned. From running the hose down from the pump the skimmer basket filled with sand. What a mess. I just keep pumping more water through and getting more sand out. I have no idea how all of the filter sand got into the pool. Please keep helping us!

sand everywhere..in pool and in pump basket

I did try threading the hose down and didn't meet any resistance. I've just asked him to try that again and maybe go further. I told him to stick the hose into the filter sand to clean that out too...is this the right way to clean it? I reached into the impeller like I always do and found...

sand everywhere..in pool and in pump basket

Hi First off I want to thank all of you for being here and preventing me from going off the deep end over my years as a pool owner. I feel like an @$$ though that my only form of contributing in here seems to be with my problems, and for that I apologize. Anyway...we replaced our filter last...

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g So this issue has been puzzling me now all day long. I tested the FC this morning and it was at 5.0. Then this evening it was only down to 4.0 after a heavy day of swimming, super high temps, and straight sunshine all day long. So...

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g I reviewed those directions and they are the exact steps that I took when I tested. The test kit that I have is the Taylor K-2006 I'm assuming there is no logical reason that we would lose CYA other than that it was lodged in the sand...

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g Just over 2 weeks ago I believe and more pucks were in over this past long weekend. I'm assuming that regardless I should go ahead and add a few cups tonight?

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g Granular was added in a sock. The first batch in the skimmer in a sock and the second in front of a return.

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g My OH was doing the adding at that time, but if I had to guess he added another 4 cups. We did replace our filter in between those additions so I'd be willing to accept that we could have lost a fair amount of the first dose but not...

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

Re: My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you g Yes, I did know that. It actually priced out cheaper than getting the borax and the acid so made more sense to do it this way. I was calculating out the borax we'd need based on that very page when I found this product cheaper.

My test kit FINALLY arrived and I have numbers for you guys!

FC 5.6ppm CC 0.2ppm pH 7.6 Alk 105? went clear at 100 and red at 110 Ca 420 CYA -- this is stumping me. We have had it tested at the pool store twice this year. The first time they said it was low and to add some. We did...about 4 cups. The next time they said there was none so we added a...

Is this product and ok one for adding Borates?

I priced out buying the acid and borax and this product actually works out cheaper as far as I can see. I'm not a chemist so hoping that one of you experts can tell me if this product fits the bill of doing the job without adding extra junk It's Aqua (brand) pool soft supreme and here is the...

Broken flange -- need new filter today

Just wanted to thank everyone again for all of the advice while I had my little breakdown. The pool is running better than ever now with the new filter so something went right! The water is also finally clear so I'm thinking that the calcium built up super high and the old filter just couldn't...

Broken flange -- need new filter today

Thanks! Out of curiousity...how do you calculate the square footage and what exactly does it refer to? You guys have been such a great help and I will definitely become a supporter as soon as I feel like we can stop pouring money into our pool for a moment.

Broken flange -- need new filter today

I did not see the replies until after we purchased. The guy at the store ended up talking us into this one. http://interpools.com/?proId=1335&gid=8712&pstart=1 It's a 22' Cyclone that was on sale. He talked about the problems that this brand had 2 years ago but said they have improved the...

Broken flange -- need new filter today

Sorry, was on my phone posting that last reply. On our way to the pool store now. I think we have to buy tonight due to how hot it is etc. What are the disadvantages with going with a smaller filter? The other one worked...it just always seemed like we had to work harder to make it work than...

Broken flange -- need new filter today

there is no label anywhere on the body of the filter. The current filter is approximately 5 feet it is circumference. To be honest we have not had great luck with maintaining our pool with this filter. I had to change the sand once thinking that was the problem. I also added de a couple of...

Here are the only other numbers I can find on it. I will post a pic of the filter because I seem to remember needing a model number on this once before and it being obsolete.
