Well, guess I'll fire it up then; sounds like a non-issue. I'm guessing you have somewhat similar weather in Texas. Just checked the CYA and Calcium levels and due to using the TFP method and actually getting a little rain this year, I will not have to do a partial drain/fill this year. Nice.
