Spa pressure jets loosing pressure intermittently

Yes, without the blower jets shoot a steady stream of water with air bubbles. The blower creates a lot of waves, splashes so I tend to keep it off most of the time. I’ll take your recommendation and run it when the problem reoccurs. See the two pics without and with the blower.

Spa pressure jets loosing pressure intermittently

I’ve attached some additional pics, that shows the plumbing. The blower is optional and the jets work without it. I did not check the filter pressure when the jets lost pressure, but will make sure to do that next time. All the valves were in their correct position when it happened though.

Spa pressure jets loosing pressure intermittently

I reattached larger pics. I have a 2hp Hayward pump and one filter for both the spa and pool. There seem to be two vents (indicated in the pics) that I thought had something to do with the spa jets per something I read on another thread here, but I could be wrong

Spa pressure jets loosing pressure intermittently

Hi all, first of all this forum has been a real help since the pool was built a few years ago. Being a first time pool owner I have been able to maintain the pool by myself through all the knowledge I’ve gathered on this forum. Now to the problem. I had my spa running last night and after a...

Hayward pump shuts off after few rotations

Thanks, I added two gallons of chlorine. When you say brushing it around, do brush the walls or the floor of the pool?

Hayward pump shuts off after few rotations

I have a salt water pool with a Hayward 2spd pump and Aquarite system. This weekend I forgot to turn the system off and in the middle of cleaning the filter cartridge the pump kicked off. I was able to turn it off within a minute or two. But after putting everything back together the pump won't...

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

FC was still at 9 as of this morning even after decreasing the filter run time to 4 hours at slow speed. It was previously set to 50% and I turned it down to 30%. Is there a way to determine the right amount?

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

Finally the PH seems to have come down. I've worked it out to about 12oz of acid everyday. In order to drop my FC should I reduce the run time on the filter?

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

I'm still in the same situation after a week. Added acid twice last week using the amount calculated by PoolMath. Checked PH after about 8 hours of adding Acid but still get the same high reading. The filter has been working only on slow speed and lowered the run time to 5hrs a day. Took...

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

The slower speed on the filter seems to regulate the spillover. I turned the filter to slow speed and also reduced the run time. Added acid this morning and took a reading in the afternoon but no change in PH is still high.

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

Here are the numbers I just took from the Taylor kit. I run the filter from 11am to 4pm as instructed by the pool builder. I was told to change this to 12 hours during the summer months. If the aeration is driving the PH up, what's the best way to determine how long to run the filter? FC :8 CC...

I updated the signature with the specs of the pool. It has pebblesheen finish. Pool is about 15k gallons with another 800gallons in the spa which spills over. FC : 3.3 TC :3.3 PH :8 (The taylor kit only gives me up to 8, the pool store read it at 8.1) TA :88 CYA:80

Yes I do have spillway from the spa into the pool. It turns on with the pool filter and can't be turned off separately. I'm running the filter from 11am-4pm right now, the temperatures here in Florida are in the 70 now.

First time pool owner, new pool, trouble maintaining PH

Hi All, I'm a first time pool owner. Pool was completed December of 2015. First thing I did after the pool company completed the pool was to register here and read through the basics of maintaining the pool. I've become quite familiar with the pool chemistry, and test it weekly with a K-2006...
