    PH running low?

Thanks for the advice. I do not use the acidic products often - my everyday chlorination is liquid chlorine - just used them to get my FC up from 0 as I couldn't get it there with bleach. FC still holding 6.2 as of last night - didn't get a chance to test it this a.m. Yes I keep a solar...

    PH running low?

My pump runs 24- 7 all summer long. I think I was just being impatient & freaked out a little bit - hence the nasty dry shock & puck. thanks!! Appreciate your help and I will stop stressing over my PH and let it fall within the 7's where it falls.

    PH running low?

I use Liquid Chlorine However, over the weekend I could not get a FC reading - we had quite a bit of rain and my CC was 05. I added 2 gallons of liquid chlorine in the morning on Saturday. About noon on Saturday still no FC reading so I did put in a bag of dry shock - and dropped a puck in the...

    PH running low?

My PH has been running at 7.2-7.3 since Saturday. I have been adding about 5 oz. of Borax according to my TFTTest Kit results and using the chart in the back of the manual and it is not rising. Do i need to be concerned? I normally shoot for 7.4 7.5 - after reading some other threads I'm...

    phosphates

Hi - I occasionally like to take my water into the pool store to compare my readings to theirs. (Theirs always have slightly higher readings) Just this summer they started telling me my phosphates are high. Never even had phosphates on their "sheet" before. I'm thinking just another reason...

    eyeball wrinkle question

I'm in central Illinois and this liner is only 1 year old.....started wrinkling but I'm not sure why I've kept my PH levels around 7.4-7.5 and my FC levels around 3 all summer. A friend of mine who works for a pool store thinks maybe it is the sand we used on the bottom (regular sand) and not...
