Upgraded Above Ground Pool 18x33 and deck rebuild

Since the weather was cooling off I decided to focus on increasing pool temp to extend the season so I picked up a solar blanket and decided to DIY a reel (save a couple hundred $$$)out of an old galvanized fence top rail and a little welding. It still takes 2 people to do it right but this will...

Upgraded Above Ground Pool 18x33 and deck rebuild

Well I didn't do the best at taking pics while installing the liner, the felt pad or the cove (oops) but we have WATER . I was able to pump my treated water from old pool into new one with a small sump pump. I realized quickly that ovals have their own challenges related to getting things...

Upgraded Above Ground Pool 18x33 and deck rebuild

Updates 8/7/20 - Had a week of rain that really hurt the progress but got the framing done and base down packed and leveled. Had to get creative to pull and hold the wall apart to keep the steel bands flat. Was able to get the wall in the track with about 7 extra bodies (that was fun) and got...

Upgraded Above Ground Pool 18x33 and deck rebuild

Started documenting my project and wanted to share. Found a pool that someone wanted to get rid of pretty bad, they did not need the deck either so I purchased both and now need to disassemble everything to move to my house 15 miles away. Attached pics of the pool and deck and the location that...

    New AGP 18x33 **UPGRADE**

I do have my old pool that I am not taking down yet and I may try to put it in there immediately while working on framing and sand work. I was able to find a liner last night hope to get confirmation on that today.

    New AGP 18x33 **UPGRADE**

Somebody give me the odds of the liner surviving the move or send me some pointers on saving it. Tough to find a replacement right now. Concerned with getting skimmer lined back up or should I just patch skimmer and start with new?

Yes I did, I have good power all the way to the circuit board panel, but not sure how to check beyond that. Thanks

Older hot tub will not fire up - Baja Casita

We have been using this older (early 90s) Baja Casita 4 person hot tub 2-3 times per week but now nothing is working, GFCI good and both sets of breakers are good. I am getting full power into the box. My question is where to start, I am decent with wiring but not sure if I start with circuit...

    Crystal Bay sand filter issue

Update - I was able to take it apart the laterals were completely detached from "hub" under the stand pipe so I will either need to get an entire new lateral kit (if it exist) or jut break down and buy a whole new filter.
