    Can't be helped, liner too big

    I am building a complete DIY 1/2 & 1/2 AGP/IG. It started as a 15' Intex AGP sunk into a 17' round (2' deep) concrete blk-lined hole (long story). I've now built another 2' of concrete blk above ground and am in the process if finishing the pool. Trouble is, no one makes a 17' overlap liner, so...

    Dilemma: liner size

    When my first pool went in, it was an AGP set into a hole lined with concrete block. It was designed to provide access to the outside of the Intex pool. My circle is 17', but I can't find a liner that size. I'm looking at using an overlap, so what are the cons of the liner being too big?

    New, still brainstorming my build

    Had a half-sunk AGP for 2 years. 18'ish x 2' deep hole that I lined with a 3 course circle of blocks, sand bottom due to central FL terrain. Had a 16' round Intex that rusted out. Not a fan of the gap between the pool and the concrete wall, so am now considering building up another 3 courses...
