Suggestions needed. Like many others in our area our pool was flooded from river water. So its a mess and needs to be drained and pressure washed etc. Should i wait a week or longer after the water has receded from around the pool to start draining? I dont want to have issues with the pool...

i tested at 8:30 pm one hour after adding chlorine fc was 15.5. I tested at 5:00 am, 40 min after pump was on and got 16.5 fc. Operator error or is it possible that i should have waited longer than an hour after initial testing at 8:30 pm? Usually within 30-45 min of adding the results are dead on.

just wondering does the pump need to run all night for this test? Or can i turn it on 30 min or so before i test the following morning? Thanks
