    Suggestions for a Vacuum

I have about reached my wits end with trying to keep the bottom edges of the pool clean. I can brush all I want, but it still does not get all of the sand that the wind blows in or that my flagstone edge deposits when wet and rainy. Suggestions of what can be used aside from my pool cleaner to...

Extremely incorrect Temp reading from Sun Touch controller

So, I have a Pentair SunTouch Controller and the water temperature reading is displaying 100 degrees +. True water temp is actually 52. Thing is, I can't change the water temp when I go into the menu options of the controller, will not let me lower the temperature. Any ideas?

Normally the skimmer closest to the pumps is pulling more water as I can see a more pronounced current of water moving through it. The one furthur away is not as pronounce with the way the...

Battle with heavy rainfall. I lost... Round one anyway.

We live in Dallas area and yesterday had 5 different waves of Thunderstorms sweep through. 2nd wave brought out a Tornado Warning at about 4pm and poured hard for about 30 minutes. Our decking drains were barely able to keep up with the overflow from the pool. Last wave came through early this...

First Winter with 3 month old pool

Have a few questions and not sure exactly which forum to put them in: 1) My pool is salt water, the pumps are set to come on when the temp outside gets to freezing. With the pool being salt, does this change the temperature that the pumps should come on at? Specifically, should the pumps come...

    Solar Pool Covers at Lowes

Picked up a solar pool cover this week at Lowe's. My pool is unheated so had to find something to extend just a bit longer. Was surprised to find such a variety of sizes there of the Lt/Blue bubble covers. The prices were the lowest I had seen. I had shopped around at the pool stores and...

My latest test showed a Tot. Chlorine level of 10 and FC level of 6.4. I want it in the 3 range. I know I need to adjust...

Question about stepping down my pump speeds and run times

2 weeks into our pool start up and have a few questions now that the pool isn't showing sings of plaster dust and the water is balanced appropriately. I will be introducing salt into the pool in about 2 weeks and get the SWG cell started. As it stands now the Intelliflo 4x160 pump has been...
