Lately, most are done with driveway type pavers in sand with only the perimeter and the coping stuck down. One company wants to use 1/2" tiles in Travertine, rough up the surface and adhere it all down, then grout. They both seem to look very good, but does anyone have an opinion on either ?

Can the start and stop ramp speed of the pump be adjusted? I don't see it in the manual. I know most inverters have an adjustment to ramp the speed on both start and stop to prevent hammering.
