Hi,i have the hayward SP1091LX skimmer on my intex 15x4foot pool.i haven't hard plumbed the skimmer yet. I already have the return and outlet hard plumbed with 2inch pvc,so i'm wondering what adapter i need to hook up the SP1091LX model skimmer?? I think the skimmer use 1,5 fittings.

I will be closing the pool and hopefully next year i will be getting a larger one. Just wondering what should i do before storing the filter and the pump for a few months?? ( the pool is semi hard plumbed) i have two suction and two return

Yesterday after noon i added 8oz of cal-hypo to raise my FC to 7 but just now i tested the FC and it's 1.5. Is is to normal to lose that much FC during the day? Pool gets alloooot of direct sunlight,from 7am to like 6pm CYA :40

Anyone know how big the intex hose coupling is before it turns into flex pvc 1.5 or 2"?

I have seen here some people use the nuts from the plungervalve and some use the hose nut,just wondering which is easier to make? Also i was thinking of cutting the whole coupling from the hose,and using the coupling with the nut as the adapter. Just wondering if the intex coupling will fit in...

Does anyone know if i can connect the plungervalve directly on the pump because i have the thru the wall skimmer directly connect to the pump but i want to have the plungervalve so that i can shut the water when i have to work on the pump?

I added 1 lb of CYA using the sock method.everything has desolved since monday but i can't get a reading of the CYA. Before i put the CYA in the sock i read on the bucket to add 30 ppm of CYA in a 4440 gallons add 1lb so i did that but now when i put in 1lb of CYA in the pool calculator it says...

I just checked my CYA that has been disolving for last 5 days and it's very very low the black dot didn't even disapear and i'm wondering how long does it usually take to get a reading?

How long should i run the pump on my intex 15x48" ? I have the 2650 sand filter at the pool store they told it should run minimum 8 hours but in the instruction book it says 2 hours
